Paul Walker's AE PERFORMANCE Supercharged E92 ///M3 Shakedown

As featured on M3POST homepage.

••• Paul Walker's AE Performance BMW ///M3 Shakedown Video•

Just thought I would share this video that we shot yesterday of our E92 M3 Redline Time Attack car being shaken down by G-Stig @ Big Willow with the newly found HP provided by a Gintani Super Charger System.

Enjoy!

How are the RS3's working out for you guys?

I've been considering this tire for the track days.

The RS3s have good grip slightly more than comparables such as AD08s and RE11s; once warm it is very sticky.

Turn in feel is different compared to AD08s, the sidewall is not as stiff (does not mean it is slower). I have heard that wet grip on the RS3 is also poor but never experienced it myself as I have never driven the AD08s or RS3s in wet track conditions.

I am running another fresh set of RS3s shaved to 5/32nds and heat cycled for July 4th race in willow springs. I currently still have AD08s mounted on my track wheels and will be running them out for practice before thrashing them and mounting the RS3s for Sunday's time attack.

They are also slightly cheaper compared to RE11s and AD08s. Honestly if I didn't have to run street tires, I would be running NT-01s for R compound properties.

Do you need to heat cycle the RS3's?
Is the noise OK while driving to the track?
Thanks for the feedback.

Aus,

The RS3 is a great tire. I actually daily drive on the RS3's. Road noise isn't too bad, but keep in mind that things like that don't bother me.

Raz,

We are looking forward to this weekend!

Regards,

-Dustin

S65 power with a sound of S54. That engine revs like crazy.

Good job AE and Paul.

I would like to know as well if he is the same Paul Walker.

I love the video and how the G-Stig is portrayed (ball boy in the tennis match. LOL). I would love to see more with the G-Stig.
