Pics Needed: Fox Red Extended w/Blue-Gray Aluminum Trim

I have been searching all over the internet and in this Forum, trying to find some descent pics of the FOX RED EXTENDED W/BLUE-GRAY ALUMINUM TRIM.
I have a Space Gray M3 Convertible on order, set to be delivered on 1NOV, but still undecided on my interior trim.

Pleas post any pics and/or opinions that you are willing to share... it would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks

Well as someone that went through this process in Jan I'll share my two cents.

If you go with FR I think the AL trim won't look very good. It will be a clash of red, black and silver. I'd suggest a black trim. The carbon leather looks especially good in my view. I'd also suggest you save some money AND have a better looking interior by just getting the regular leather-- it's still FR in all the right places. I was spring loaded to paying more as I too thought it would be better looking but when my sales advisor cautioned me against doing so and showed me a couple of cars I had to agree with him.

Good luck and congrats!!

PS: Delivered on 1 Nov? Is that a typo?

IMO, the colors don't really clash but it will be very busy.

I think the only colors that don't work with the aluminum are silver and bamboo. They book look ok, but FR and black look soooo much nicer with the silver than the other colors.

@BigHat-1Nov isn't s a a typo. It will be delivered on the 1st of November...I still have time to adjust my options.

The thing is that whenever i see the Fox Red (reg.), it seems to that the leather is not complete after seeing the Fox Red Extended. It's like BMW ran out of leather at the doors or something.... I'm stuck on the the Extended. I just think it looks more complete. But the trim is my problem...
The pics that i have seen on the internet, with the FR Extended w/ BG Alum., doesn't show the "true" color of the leather. I have noticed that it's actually a dull red. And it's really throwing my judgement off. For that, it's difficult for me to judge whether the BG Aluminum is clashing or busy as SlamMan commented.

It's hard trying to find a pic with the "true color" of the FR extended w/ BG Alum. or w/ the CF.

This is what i found so far...

As an owner of an e90 with extended fox red with carbon leather trim, I'll tell you that the last three pictures really represent what the leather looks like. Unfortunately, the pictures you posted with extended fox red and aluminum don't represent the leather color well at all.

While it's certainly a matter of opinion, I think fox red looks best with carbon leather. I really like the aluminum trim with black leather, but thought it clashed too much with the red.

I think the carbon leather trim looks 1000 times better than the aluminum with FR

Hmmm - I do look the carbon leather trim as well.. but I do like the contrast that the Alum presents with the FR.

definitely DON'T do Aluminum trim with Extended Fox Red.

If your set on aluminum trim, then at least drop the extended leather. look at those pics above and decide. There should be no question that extended fox red with aluminum clashes.

I had aluminum with coral red on my 335i which looked amazing contrasting with the black, but coral red is RED. Fox seems more of a brown...

Aluminum looks pretty darn good with fox red extended! It would be a hard choice between carbon leather and Allu with fox red.

Yes it would be. I was kinda scared it wouldn't look good, but it looks awesome. I like how it matches the premium sound trim, it looks like it was meant for it.
