Long interval oil change results

So I wanted to test the 15k mile oil change interval versus what many users on this forum recommend for 7.5k. Generally, synthetics should have a very long run life and 15k is well within expected capability (based on work I have done in industry with other types of machinery).

The attached report suggests that 15k miles is perfectly reasonable for oil changes. Of course, I did note the lead levels so will definitely be following up and this is only 1 data point (which might be informative but not yet insightful...need to string a few together before making any long term judgements). Note: this car is a DD with approx 1k miles/month and no track time (Please don't hate! I can only afford one ridiculous hobby at a time and sailing takes most of my fun $ right now!)

I think I will do the next change at 7.5k to see any change(s), then move to a 10k interval long term.

Plenty of M3s got 15k changes are are still humming along happily. PO of my car did the 15k changes and my UOAs have come back pretty good, and the motor runs strong.

I ran 10K mi intervals on my other Beemers (325i, 328i, E46 M3). I think it's a good in-between interval (vs. 15K or 7500). I currently am using the same on my E90 M3
