Just spoke to SA, he said not to worry about $1k discount for '11 production... and that I should get '10 M3 for the reason that there are even better incentives ($2500 back) on '10 M3 models, and lease residuals best since end of '08... it is possible to have $850 ish a month lease M3, just like we had back in '08. Not sure if any of this applies for '11... Have to call him back to get more detailed info.

Can't make a decision here... crazy deal on '10 or good deal on special order '11 (sorry off topic now)

...any thoughts?

Might be tough to find a 2010 though. My dealership told me there were none. Now that could have been none with the options I wanted. If you are willing to get anything (color, options, etc) you might be able to find one. I would hurry up with this though

I agree with this one... M3 is a rare car and is a high demand,- main reason it's holding value pretty well, thus affecting residuals to our advantage...

I am however very picky on options, but if it is E92 M3 with CF and 6MT and i-drive, and a good deal,- I'll take it! I would take it today, but have to wait for my credit rating to bounce back up before doing credit app. just a couple more weeks and then... M3

Unless they raised residuals, they were TERRIBAD on the '10s when I checked in early June. The rates are low, but so are the residuals, which even at $500 under invoice and the $2500 rebate, it was still cheaper to get an '11 at $700 over.

this is very interesting. I am sure SA was not interested in saving money for me, but rather gaining extra rebates for himself for pushing '10 M3...

Most likely it makes more sence (and more option choices) to place an order on '11 M3

The 2010 that I picked up in March was at $1500 under invoice with $2500 worth of rebate and the payment was about $50 higher per month than the 2011 that's coming in at $1000 over invoice and with a $1500 higher MSRP.

Good choice on driving 550 at the event! That car is a monster, I regret not taking that one for a drive instead of big whale 7... but it was agile and a lot of fun too, cool feature "seat thigh massage" while driving so your back would not get tired. Everyone wanted to drive 535 and some 550 but no one wanted 740, so I had a lot more time with it,- drove much further distance, parked by marina with sailboats and had a photoshoot with my girlfriend and the 7 awesome car

I have a question for those that have been to the event, is the $1000 only good at the dealership where you test drive the cars...or good at any BMW centers?

^^^ here is the fine print from coupon ^^^

basicly it says $1k coupon is good at any participating BMW dealer and should be used to lower already negotiated sale price of car...

Anyone able to get this early? My local Ultimate driving event isn't until July 28th and am looking to purchase sooner.

The person I talked to wouldn't budge...

Anyone have an e-mail address for BMW NA that works?

Thanks!

I emailed an advisor and he said it cannot be applied to ED. That sucks. Almost made pull the trigger sooner then I was planning on. Finger is still on the trigger though.

PicassoM. Nice combo! I am planning on getting SC also. Saw it in person, and it looks awesome. Have fun at ED. Are you doing PCD also? That's what I am planning on with ED. I remember reading a thread that you didn't know you can do both. PCD is well worth it, and you are not to far away. I did a 2 day M school last year. PCD is a taste of M school.

Went to the event last saturday and still have not recieved anything? I recieved an e-mail from the dealer thanking me for coming out but no coupon. I need this thing soon! Sent an e-mail to BMW today. Maybe I will call them. So, you drop this on them right at the end I would imagine?
