How long does it take to make ice cubes?

I need to make medium to large sized ice cubes for drinks later tonight. Will it freeze in a couple of hours?

Dude, I can't even find a ice cube tray in the kitchen! Gonna run to BK and borrow some ice. Self serve drink machines FTW!

Believe it or not, this is true. OP if you use water that is above lukewarm - like just a little too hot to put your finger in - it'll form better crystals.

Just buy a bag of ice for a buck at the store, you'll get 10 times as much as you can hijack from BK in half the time
