I would not go with the M6 as the new one is not that far away. The R8 is no different than most higher end cars as the manufactures are using much more realistic residual values these days.

Thought about it a bit, but the car has no class. If I just wanted power, Id buy a Vette for half the price of all these cars. Plus, I couldn't buy a car knowing Nissan MAY not warranty it. But no, I havent test driven a GT-R, I def would like to though.

I cant see it being garbage seeing as theyve ONLY lost $20 000 over the last 2 years. Not bad at all. But like I said, all of sudden, they will take a huge dive in the next few months or year at most.

Thats what I would have thought, but we don't really realize how expensive these cars cost monthly. A brand new M5, with 10k down is $2000 a month (with a 10k discount). And that car is about $115 000 (with options). I had this quoted a couple weeks ago.

The New M6 is easily 2 years away. If I get the M6, I would keep it for a maximum of 2 years.

The R8's that I delivered in the last few years have all listed at $170000 + with the proper options on them. But I would still buy a 911 variant 1st.

Thats pricey for the M5, I'd sooner go for something like this:

Im not a Porsche guy, two of my good friends had 911 Turbos for the last 2 years. (one of them which I posted pics of, and was running approx 1000hp) And while this might amaze all you Porsche fans, I don't think I would ever buy one. I see no point in it for many reasons.... Its not comfortable for daily driving, therefore making it a weekend or toy car. and If im going to buy a weekend/toy car for over $100k. Id buy myself a used Gallardo way before a 911 TT.

I know others will disagree, but thats my opinion. Its exotic dollars, for a car thats not exotic looking to me, it is a nice looking car, dont get me wrong. But it kind of falls in the middle of nowhere for me, its not an exotic and its not a daily driver either.

I hear that, but 15K down 1500/month is a lot cheaper than any exotic from the looks of it...
