Parting out...lots of useful stuff!
I am posting this here because I much rather sell locally then deal with shipping to the US, and a few things must be done locally, such as swap 18" OEM rims for my 19" OEM rims, and swap homelink mirror (which 2008 M3s didnt come with) for a non home link mirror. ****JUST ADDED**** Im willing to trade bumpers with an OEM white bumper, I just had my bumper repainted in May to give my car a nice freshening up, and as many of you know I had the reflector delete done in march 2009. So here is your chance (without any down time) to grab a "EURO" looking bumper locally. Let me know if any AW owners are interested.
here is all the stuff I posted in the main for sale thread Hey guys, Looks like I am going to get rid of my car, not sure what I want next but I have had my fun with the M3. I already sold my CF Front Lip and Rear Diffuser. so here is a list of what I have for sale. Authentic Vorsteiner Front Lip (it was cf, had a small crack in the clear so I had it painted Alpine White) Installed for pics and then removed same day - $550 Custom Sub & Amp for E93. This was custom made to fit the E93 trunk. No cutting of your original trunk floor mat. The amp is actually mounted to its own piece of wood which was cut out to the shape of the trunk, and then wrapped in OEM BMW grey fabric - 2 10" Kaption Subs with Alpine 400w Amp (I will post details on the model of the amp when I get home) - $750 Custom Painted CF Mirror Covers - Full replacement. I bought a set of full CF mirror covers, and I had my body shop paint the top half to Alpine White. Mirrors are perfect, not a stone chip in them - $350 - SOLD Carbon Fiber Lip Spoiler - $200 Custom CF Centre Console for 2008 E93 ONLY- I have attached a pic showing exactly how close the cf trim looks. I prefer to sell this locally because I need your OEM front & rear console. $300 + trade of your OEM console SOLD For the local Toronto guys, I am looking to swap my 19s for the 18s, my car originally came with the 18s. I just bought 2 brand new PS2s for $1000 bucks about a month ago. So make me a reasonable offer and I need your 18 rims and tires. I also have the Homelink mirror, which Canadian Spec 2008 M3s didn't come with, I am also looking to swap this mirror for a non home link mirror. Make me an offer on this as well. Thanks for looking! Cheers!

Thank you, and I always had the intention of keeping it until the end of the lease, but to be honest, i just got bored with it. I want a change and something with a little more power, the M3 is quick, but to me it seems quicker one day then the other and I dont like the inconsistancy. I want something that no matter what, no matter how hot or cold it may be outside, I want it to feel fast. The M3 never put me back in my seat the way I had imagined it. One of my options is an M6 for now, it has the power and its a great DD. The Gallardo is out of my price league right now, and its not a DD. I would def need another car next to the Gallardo.

Why fuck around with a little 5 litre when you can have at least 10 litres
I think this would give you that pushed back in the seat feeling you seem to desire.Been down that road a long time ago and the problem with that is that becomes old pretty quick.Acceleration is nothing compared to the satisfaction of extracting max performance out of going around corners. This car handles sort of like an M6 but it is even quicker in a straight line!Should be satisfactory not?![]() ![]() |

Interested in the lip, bumper, and homelink mirror. Would be willing to make a road trip up to T.O. to make this work.
PM sent.

Doesnt the M6 have slower 0-60 times then the M3? Might "feel" faster because of the additional hp and torque, but the weight is a big factor. If you want to stick in the BMW family, I think your best bet would be to hold on the the M3 until next summer, then hop into the new M5. I would not do an M6 now...new 6 is due out fairly soon and you will quickly have a dated car. If it's just raw power you want, then maybe the C63AMG would be a better choice for you.

Interested in your sub and amp. did you hook it up to stock stereo and speakers? Was it a pain to wire, or not too bad? How much better was the quality? you can pm with answers. Thanks. Also, I live in chicago, so willing to ship?

Correct:
M6 coupe (DCT) and M3 coupe (DCT) have the same 0-60 But the M3 cab really suffers in 0-60...guess that hard top convertable is really heavy. But an M6 cab with options runs close to 140G...your into R8 company...do you really need the rear seats?...and quattro should get you through the winter just fine Just kiddin...I'm sure the monthlys are insane on even a base R8Quote:

but its too much. And for some reason those cars go for 140k new, somehow a 2008 still goes for 115-120. Those cars will take a dive soon
