2006 bmw sales PIE chart

here you guys go, i put together this chart for ya's

3 series total: 107,016
z4 total: 10,819
5 series total: 49,296
6 series total: 8,450

bit surprised that the X3 has as big of a share as it does. Never would have thought BMW sells more X3's than Z4's.

in a magazine article i read a while ago they said that the 5 was bmws "main stay", what does that mean? are they saying that world wide bmw make more on the 5 than the 3?

could be..... this graph is only for 2006, and only for USA. in europe its completely different.

If I'm not mistaken, something like 52% of BMW's annual worldwide production consists of the 3-series.

That sounds about right to me. Perhaps profit margins are higher for BMW on the 5-series though.

well i just made separate graphs for each individual category. bar graphs seem most logical for this application, since the 3 series has so many models
