BBS CHR 19x9 ET 20 19X10.5 ET 25
To all Forum Members I have a few questions.
1. Will a 275-30-19 Yokohama AD08 work on my E9X M3 on the front axle mounted to a 19X9 ET 20 BBS CHR wheel with zero rubbing & clearance isues? I am lowered on H&R springs. 2. Will a 295-30-19 Yokohama AD08 fit on the rear axle using BBS CHR 19X10.5 ET 25 with zero clearance issues or rubbing? anyone who has any expierence using extreme upsizing tires. Your thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. |

275 up front might be tight... considering you are lowered on H&Rs and the offset of ET20 is pretty aggressive... 295 on the rears should be no issue at all.

What would be a good method to test fit these? and compress the suspension before going to the track or spirited drive? |

You might have an issue up front. I have a 19x10 +25 up front with no issues at all. I am on eibachs. Your 19x9 +20 will have 13mm less space on the side facing the strut than my setup. So you might (don't quote me) need a 12mm spacer up front. The rear should be fine.

I have 275/30 AD08 mounted on RG63 wheels (19x9, et22). I am not lowered and get some rub on full lock. More importantly for you, I get rubbing right inside the outer fender lip under heavy compression (same with my 295/30 out back but less frequent.) Given the drop of H&Rs, I think you'll have issues.

Test fit front today

The rear setup should be fine with an offset of ET 25; i will have plenty of room and zero rubbing issues. |

I have 295 AD08's on 10" +20. I was on H&R's and it rubbed quite a bit but it was just rubbing away some plastic on the rear bumper, nothing major. Eventually I had no more rubbing unless in comfort EDC mode and I hit a big dip at high speeds.
I'm on Eibach now and I have no rubbing whatsoever under any conditions. I wanted to put 275/30 on my 9" +22 but someone who has tried it said he rubbed on his shock or something and need a 3mm spacer to make it work.

265 up front
Quote:
The overall diameter of a 265-30-19 is to small and messes with the factory overall diameters. I used to run 265 285 combo on Original CSL wheels. The OD on the 265-30-19 was to small and i had clearance issues going up driveways and industrial areas. A 255-30-19 should be just right. |

255/35/19 is actually slightly larger than stock OD by 1.05%, a 265/30/19 is 1.98% smaller in OD, the 255/30/19 is 2.92% smaller in OD. You would be better off with the 255/35/19 pr 265/30/19 i would think for getting closer to stock OD We generally sell the 255/285 front/rear setup on this wheel size though.

Maybe you could convince Yokohama to make a 285-30-19 AD08 they would sell quite a bit! I would have bought a set!!! |

Sorry, no pull with Yokohama. We are close with bridgestone though. Were trying to get them to make the RE-11 in the proper rear sizing for the M3.
