After months of reading through the audio sub forum I decided it was time for an upgrade. We all know the enhanced audio system definitely needs to some help especially on the low side. I wanted a sub that would add on to my factory sound without drowning out or overpowering it. I had the jl audio w3 in mind because this sub is definitely more sound quality oriented. I also wanted something installed in the trunk for the shows and just my general liking. So here's what we came up with...after a couple of drinks of course. Props to my audio installer Mitsiwa Auto Customs.

Thanks guys. It sounds really good, flows well with the enhanced audio. The nice thing about it is that I don't have to constantly fiddle with a bass control knob. At low volumes the bass is just as a good factory system would be. When you crank the volume, you get that noticeable bump. Again, however it never underminds the highs/mids of the factory system. Everyone that has heard it is impressed with the upgrade. I wanted something very simple and clean for this car. I didn't want to rip the whole system and re-wire and all of that good stuff.
Thanks again for the positive feedback. -Vin |
