Question Driver's Side M3 Ducting

Hey guys,
I'm curious with what exactly is the difference between the ducting on the Driver's side with the DCT transmission and without.
Real oem has a different part number for the DCT trans and I'm wondering if there's another oil cooler on that side or something.

I went to the local dealership here and looked at the M3 on the lot but there was only the DCT there so I couldn't compare.
I'd appreciate the help.
Thanks.

The passenger side houses a bigger transmission oil cooler for the DCT (I don't remember the link to the post). The driver side should be the same. What does right mean on realoem? From the picture you would think right means driver side.

right/left is always from the perspective of a person sitting in the drivers seat, so right would be the passenger side on left hand drive cars.

I can't believe all of these years, I didn't realize this.
OK, so this makes sense.
Thanks.

If anyone has replaced their left duct with the GruppeM and don't give a crap about it then let me know.
