thanks everyone! I see some big names in this thread.. Some of your cars I envy myself.. It's the best feeling in the world when the people you look up to give you compliments...

Cal@JLEVI SW estimated to me that the fit was 85-90% .. My body shop guy said the fit was very close.. So I'd say Cal was right.. Like I said in the first post, I think the only real major hassle Phil had was fitting the stock grills on the hood. He did also mention to me he may have to widen the support holes slightly to get it perfectly straight but I consider that standard practice on any non-oem hood.

The side gaps are slightly wider than stock but still within reasonable spec.. and you can tell from the pics they are very straight.. To me, the front fits as well as my OEM hood did... To close the hood I have to slam it harder than stock but I think it's because it's a teeny bit lighter so it has slightly less momentum going down.

Contact WheelSTO.. they might even have a set instock who knows.. They said they stock Alloy Technic wheels in inventory every now and then.. One of those guys there will give you an honest opinion of how to best deal with them.

The pics are awesome and I love the decision to paint the full hood white with the exception of the Vorsteiner logo stencil. It looks fantastic. My only beef with the Vorsteiner hood is, it feels like there's too much black when its against an AW car like this:

The way you pulled it off is genius

Thanks guys.. yea, I agree that the vents in black on a white car is way too busy.. There was no way I was leaving those vents black.. nor was I leaving the hood unpainted.. the Panda look went out of style in 2006

I prefer the look of the stock M3 front + lip over the Ericsson front.. plus the taiwanese copy cats have replicated this bumper now so everyone and their brother will have one soon on these forums

I still have not seen any front I like better than stock except maybe the Vorsteiner front but that's just a stock M3 front with an integrated Vorsteiner lip, so why bother. RD Sport front bumper appeals to me too but again it's just basically the stock M3 front bumper with a slightly elongated mouth.. and then you are screwed with trying to fit a lip on that if you get that bumper.

So until someone comes out with something that knocks my socks off, I'm content with what I got.

Looks so much better painted without the logo on the vents.

I love the wheels so I checked out the link. I think it's funny that you mention how the Advan-RSD's were too "boy racer" but then you put an aggressive hood on like that?
Dont get me wrong...your car looks great.

looks great, the wheels are pretty hot too! Out of curiousity, how much do they run for?

The only thing I would change would be the aluminum trim inside, or lose the cf center piece since you don't seem happy with it anyways. Two different trims inside doesnt flow IMO. Car looks awesome otherwise!!

Good point.. Maybe "boy racer" is the wrong description.. They just didn't look like they belonged on there.. It's something I can't quite place my finger on but I'll just leave it at that.
