Solid numbers! I want to see some dyno's of this car with boost and AFR if possible...

So, this is a custom one off and won't be offered to the public as a kit? Running this on your/Jon's car, you guys going to be running race fuel?

I've asked GP to provide this, only problem is the closest dyno to Autenzell (that can log boost over RPM) is 2 hours away, so not sure how quickly they can do it. Might have to wait for me to get it here.

As of right now it's a prototype kit, they just developed it (guess you could call it an SK2++ as opposed to an SK3 since it's running stock CR and the T1-522 blower). I don't know if it will be released to the public, this will probably be a racegas-only kit (just my guess). I don't plan on running anything other than 100+ once I get my hands on the parts and software, but will wait for GP to confirm what fuel grades are acceptable once they rack up more miles in Germany.

How did Eugene pull a 9.01 60-130 with 7.5 psi but Chris pulls 2.2 seconds faster with 2 more psi... It's the same set up, with 2 more psi right? Same gas also..

I'm 100% sure that car is running more then 9.5 psi and I'm 99% sure that is a built motor.

Chris owns Gpower, You told me yourself there was a built motor over in Germany..

One more thing, you sure Chris isn't running any water/meth injection?

From what I've seen inside the bay because I was kind of skeptical too. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, it look just like my engine bay except wires every where lol. I'm not writing because we have a discounted price for the MFlights, because it's true. I don't know about the internal. I'm not small enough to get in lol.

I can't speak on whether the motor was built or not (FWIW the exhaust note did not sound any different than any other Akra M3 I've heard so I don't believe it is but I will not say that it absolutely wasn't) but I know for a fact there was no water/meth injection. He had no issues popping the hood and letting us takes pics and video of it. Other than the data logging wiring it looked exactly like any other SKII.

There is no way of seeing/hearing that you have a lowered compression motor.

When Chris was in LA last year, he told me he was developing a Gpower water injection kit, that's why I assumed he would be running it now. It doesn't make a difference, it's just for cooling.

Well, you're 100% wrong about this setup. The boost was confirmed this morning @ ~0.65bar, see below. The CR is stock, not lowered.

So? There are a few built cars over in Europe, but this car is running FACTORY compression.

No meth injection whatsoever, that's a no-no for this engine (you would know). This was already confirmed by others.

Wait a sec, you keep saying "stock compression", does that mean stock motor or built motor with stock compression ratio pistons?

I don't know, all I know is the CR is factory, which is the only thing that's relevant given the boost pressure is 9.5psi and not higher (as Josh is erroneously claiming). Like I said, I'll be receiving the 155mm pulley, software and intake system from this setup shortly. There was no mention of me receiving lower compression pistons (or any type of aftermarket pistons).

You cant run 9-10 psi on this motor on pump fuel. You would have to lower the CR or run race fuel / meth. If the car is making 724 hp it is running more than 9.5 psi. The latest G-power car that was run on a dyno with boost recorded made 460 whp on 6 psi. You do not gain 200 hp on the same kit with a simple 3.5 psi increase.

Please post a dyno chart with AFR and boost. This would help make sense of all these numbers that are being thrown around.

That's a bs graph. That isn't from a dyno, it's from a spreadsheet.

How about this, you want to explain how you pulled 200 whp from 2psi?

Chris is the one that told me himself at Southbay Autohouse that he was developing a injection kit.

Yes, I agree you can't run this much boost with 91AKI pump, which is why GP is running 100RON SuperPlus (95AKI). I never made a HP claim for this kit, that was tossed around by others using the VBox data (which is a guesstimate based on the performance of the VBox runs). All I know is my car made ~ 545WHP on 100AKI with the standard SK2 setup @ 7.5psi. Using a 20% correction factor for drivetrain losses, that would be ~ 680HP. So making an extra 40HP (~724HP) with an extra 2psi of boost isn't far-fetched by any means. Dynos for this setup will be forthcoming once I get the parts.

You don't know? Your making is seem like it's a stock motor. Find this out as this is an extremely important fact.

No, it's from the data-logging system that GP has on this car.

I already explained that in the previous post.

Oh sorry, they work but you have to run race gas... We're in CALIFORNIA buddy. We pump 91 gas.
Your kit was a prototype with high-octane programming, this was explained to AutoTalent back in April of 2009.

I don't care what problem you guys still seem to have with each other. You need to play nice if you want such threads and yourself to stay here. Please feel free to continue the discussion on this GPower kit (both positively and negatively), but stop the personal attacks immediately!

Best regards,

The compression ratio is stock and the boost is 0.65bar, that's all they're telling me. I'm not making any claims beyond that since I will be getting this exact setup soon; and like I already said, they are not sending me any bottomend components (pistons, rods, etc.). I'll be able to verify everything once I actually have this setup installed.
