This is going to be my 3rd post on here. If all goes well I should have my 2011 M3 ordered by next week, possibly the week after at latest. I'm in the process of selling my IS350 on ebay and am hoping I can get around what I'm looking for it. See Link-

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus...spagenameZWDVW

In the meantime, I've pretty much figured out every package I want. However I'm having a really hard time on deciding with what color combo I want to go with.

Everyday I seem to be liking a different color. However I think that they rank at-
1. Alpine White on Red (Major drawback..my brother in a different state has the exact combo)
2. Melborne Red on Red/Black (possible drawback.. i don't know if I can do red again, although I think Melborne red looks amazing)
3. Metallic Grey on Red (caught my eye of late. and that combo imo is classy)

I plan on keeping the E92 M3 for a very long time. Being able to own an M3 was a dream for me. And now that it's coming true I want to make sure I get what I want.

What do you guys think?
You asked for opinions so here ie mine.

1. White is my least fasvorite exterior color.
2, Red is my least favorite interior color.

AW/FR is overdone, but it does look really good (if only it were less common).

Garage List
Im in the same situation as you, Im gonna order my m3 tonight and Im torn with the color options. I had a 08 white on saddle brown e93, got lemoned then got a 09 black sap. met on cream beige e93. Now i want an m3. Heres my choices.

AW on Red- Best looking combo imo but EVERYONE and there mom has that combo around my area.

Lemans Blue on Black- Like it dont see to many out there, the blue is tricky cuz it seems real different in different lighting

or

Melbourne Red on Black- Im leaning towards this but anyone think the red is to feminine??

Oh yea and im getting a Carbon Fiber roof with the 19'

It's really hard to tell someone what colors they should like.

I can see a discussion on options, but advice on basic exterior and colors seems like a total waste of bandwidth. I like red, Billy likes tan, Johnny like black. What does one learn from that type of exchange? Going to add up the suggestions and buy the favorite or something?

You can find some pics here....scrolling down for the ones in the better lighting. I know of only one other E93 in this combo on the board, but do believe that there is also a E92in this combo out there as well.

The Fox Red with SSII is also "not recommended" by BMW, but it exists and looks very good.

nope. I got about another week. and i'm still not sure.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to SG on Red on AW on Red.

My #1 still is AW on Red.. But at the same time I am going against this combo because every persian in LA w/ a white bimmer seems to have white on red..

SG on Red is def. a choice now. But I've never been a car that has been into grey cars and I'm worried I will regret not getting white.

This has honestly been one hell of a decision to make, especially since I plan on having this car for a long time...

I went with AW on black novillo with the carbon leather trim combo in my 2011 m3 zcp order. Hopefully I won't get disappointed after seein the individual colours such as frozen gray and monte carlo blue.

I ordered mine 45 days ago. My fist choice was and fox red leather interior.. The I found out that there were several M3 in my country with that combo.
So I decided to change. After several trips to the BMw dealer decided for Black and rust brown interior. Most of the M3 colors available change color according tho the light.
sparkling graffite is kind of gray with purple tones. Silverstone II is silver and a ligth blueish green and so forth. My advice would be to go an see the colors personally at different times and lighting. About the interior you must remember that unless it is an individual leather option you will have black areas in the dash. even if you choose extended leather.
One last thing. Your car will be confirmed once you have a production number. This number will change during the process o the construction and delivery. But don't believe the dealer untill he has gotten confirmation from the BMW plant in Regensburg
Hope this will help you.
