Wow.. that's either a great deal or I got a really bad deal (or a combination of both).

Congrats.

Not bad at all. I paid $45k for my 2009 and has everything option wise and CPO'd and I had 30,000 more miles. lol

That seems like a great price for a CPO'd car. I want to keep my budget under $45k, but I can't seem to find a used 08/09 CPO'd in that range.

Some great, great deals in this thread - very interesting; I've had no such luck thus far in my search.

What's everyone using out of curiosity?

cars.com
autotrader.com
edmunds.com
carmax.com

What else am I missing?

Good look, thanks again!

I suppose I'm just lacking patience at the moment, and just gotta be lucky enough to catch a deal that really makes sense.

I'll keep and eye out for sure.

Any other tips/advice/etc. are much appreciated!

When purchased: TBD
Year and Model:2011 M3 Competition Coupe Jerez Black on black
Miles:14,000
Options: Competition, Premium, Tech, Enhanced sound, Carbon trim, iPod/USB adapter, Sat radio, carbon fiber roof
Transmission:MDouble Clutch

Local broker wants 60.9K. Dropped it from 64.9K.

Still under warranty until Oct 2014. Good price or should I keep looking? He's not coming down further.

Thanks for the advice!

you're not missing anything. I used Cars.com and found my M3. You just have to counter offer. No seller is going to post these deals as their asking price, you have to ask for it.

For me, dealer was asking for $54k in the ad, I saw on this message board the comparable car should sell with no drama around $45-$48k cash, I offered $46k, they took it.

Don't just "keep an eye out", b/c you'll never see these prices offered. Just start offering what you want to pay. Someone will bite, b/c these are all reasonable prices where dealer will still make money.

+1

Always the way I operate. Those who are afraid to make a "lowball" offer will typically end up over paying. Do your research and know what you should be paying then make it happen.
