Why would you say it's a must? I did auto-cross this weekend with my car and still had a boat load of fun. Would my times have been better with the technology package? Probably, but the point is I love my M3 and that is really what matters! As far as being overpriced? I figured about 3 grand went into the car to put new rubber on it and certify it.

Looks like a "launch" car from the options and configuration. Nothing wrong with that, I've got one. Decent mileage. From what I've seen here perhaps a few thousand overpriced but in that condition with those miles not overpriced by $6K or any such foolishness.

Edit - those look like original tires. No idea how they got 18K out of the rears, but they are toast.

I'm looking at a 2011 M3 sedan with only 120miles that I'm told is loaded with MDCT. It is used, as the previous owner had it for a very short period of time, and then changed his mind and ordered something else. (At least this is what I was told by the dealer).

I am wondering what a reasonable price for this car would be. I'm assuming a new one like it could be had for 500 above invoice. The salesman told me it had an MSRP of 73K. I assume that, even though it has very low mileage that it would still be worth less than a new one, but I'm not sure how much less. I'm strongly considering this car, but would like to know what price I should be aiming for before I start negotiating.

Honestly, 67k is basically new coupe price. You should be around the 58-60k range, at most 61,62kOTD even then you probably paid too much.

take kbb value and discount it by 20%. but probably even more than that since the mileage is so high. i personally wouldnt touch that.

Just compare it to a brand new E90 M3 price with the same options (assuming invoice + $500 pricing). Through bmwusa.com, I priced one for 69k. With invoice pricing I think it would come to 65k$. So it is WAY overpriced.
