Looks like a normal wheel with alcantra(unless it's the performance wheel)

For me that's the best available Steering wheel for the E9x Family. It looks far better than the Performance BMW one.

Yeah the stripe is kinda silly on a road car. I really saying awesome to the GTS wheel in the vidcap.

911 GT3 RS has a yellow ring, so the GTS gets a yellow ring.

I have the same material steering wheel now in my 330i zhp. Its my third steering wheel in the past 4 years of owning this car. And the third one is already starting to feel and look like shit. Its inevitable. The sweat from your palms and rubbing your hands around it on turns over time makes it almost start become rough and pull right off the rest of the wheel. I would try to find one in leather, OR possible get it re-wrapped. It wont be M quality though..

True that, my alcantara wheel in the previous car was excellent for about a year, after that a friend of mine (to whom I sold the car ) had difficulty persuading some of his potential buyers that the wheel was original coz it looked like shit by that time, which is why I would buy a full leather steering wheel now.

I like the bathrobe wheels but I wish they came as an option w/t the car.
like a $500 option.. I got the executive package so if this had been an option it should have came w/t it.,
