2011 M3 sedan > $57,520

Just got a quote from my sales rep for the following...
Alpine white with the standard black cloth/leather, carbon leather trim
6MT
Competition package
iPod/USB

Good? Bad?

Ooooo, I like the way that car is equipped. Comp package + cloth, USB! Nice and simple! The price is not too bad, but I think you could get it a bit lower.

If you can add the Technology Package and still be below $60,000 it will be much better, IMO...

The invoice for this car is $55,785 with destination+GGT. Your quote is $1,735 above invoice. Now, check this thread to see what people are paying:

I thought performance(edit: competition but performance is better description package come with EDC? so only thing somewhat useful he losing is the higher threshold DSC and SPORT steering setting, Rest of the things he can adjust with buttons, just do DSC off always.

You will want the higher threshhold traction control, trust.

Just put the first 900 miles on the car and the best option so far, by far, is the tech package. Having the M button is great, just set up the car the way you want it and all it takes is a press before you start driving and its all good. Plus, you can set up the button for other drivers (girlfriend, fiancee, playtoy) and they can just hit the button and go. Great to set them up in "D" mode so they don't screw up the DCT. Just sayn'..............
