New car delivery problem
I took delivery of a '11.5 E92 M3 on Friday. My previous car was an '08 M3. I noticed the front end seemed higher than my previous M3. Also noticed the front wheel gap is wider. The suspension seems tighter and rougher. I recall someone else having a similar problem and someone mentioned that during the dealer prep, they forgot to remove something. Does my problem sound like this?

You should go back to the dealer asap cuz if they break in the shocks you'll have to replace them.

I took delivery at Valencia BMW. This is my 4th car from Valencia. I've never had a problem. What irritates me more is they dinged both front rims. They've agreed to repair them.

Yikes, I would be sick to my stomach over that whole mess. Don't be afraid to raise hell. Believe me they would charge you if your check bounced or something, so charge them (free stuff)!!!

![]() They need to replace those wheels. Did they even explain how the wheels got the ding? I live in the area and that's where I got my M3. I will now avoid them like the plague for any future services. One of the SA's there I guess hates my guts as I always been picky in their service feedback. I always rated them POOR.

^^^ Thats an interesting point as my dealer here has always made it a point to tell me that if i don't rate them a 10 accross the board that they will get a fail for the service. In turn, I never fill out the form cause I don't want to screw them but i don't feel they were necessarily 10's all the way.

Did it sorta look like this?
![]() This is a picture of an E46 M3 with the shipping spacers in but I'm sure it looks similar to what is on an E92. Now you have me worried... my suspension is kind of rough... and I'm on deployment... for a year... AND I LEFT THE CAR WITH MY PARENTS. |

I got new tires on my X6 and they didn't just scratch them they gouged them in several areas. It took 2 months, about a hundred phone calls and emails for them to get back to me on anything. 4 total months later I had new wheels and a bill to change them out which I have ignored and to this day am waiting to hear back from the service manager or anyone subject. I also noticed that whenever I get shitty service I never seem to get the surveys on how they are doing, can they filter these somehow?
