I am working with a company to make some custom 18" wheels that will clear the Brembo 380mm BBK. They will be forged and very lightweight! They will be made to order widths too! I will get more info on Monday.

Please let me know (PM) if you are interested as they need to order 5 sets initially.

Here's a quick, recent one. Post 20 by Jacey. There have been others too.

You're right. Looks like it fits 380mm Porsche Ceramic brakes.

I am pretty sold on these... C10 (top) or C14 (bottom)?

those might be the c140s...(they look a little nicer than the c14s IMO). let me know what you're gonna go with finally. I will almost surely go with 9.5/11 (18'' with 275/35 and 295/35 - i want vredesteins!) if they can fit without rub. I don't know what offset I need for those though - any help? As for my opinion on selection, I think the C10s work best with the E92 lines, even though I think the C140s may look a little nicer as a rim in and of itself. Is there anyone that can P-shop a C140 onto an M3? I will almost 100% go with C10. Im gonna call them either today (2 am!) or tomorrow!

and that drum set is making me wet my pants - holy mother!

here are some C10s on an AW E92 M3 - 18'', which is exactly what we're considering

Car is lowered though...

How much do those run? I hear they're pretty pricey? Why not just get a set of VOLK TE37 or G2's?

We have a batch of TE37 coming in that will clear the Brembo BBK. The sizes are 18x9.5 +22 and 18x10.5 +22.

Are the CCW's "certified?" They have a great reputation.

I called and asked. The only difference between C140 and C14 is that the 14 will accept a center bolt - whereas the C140 has the space for a wheel cap.

Now I'm not sure whether to do C140 or C10, and whether to go with shotpeened black, brushed black or competition grey!!! Any opinions?

Oh, I didn't mention that this is for a LeMans Blue...so that's why I was even considering a dark grey...

Will these clear StopTech 380 mm BBK???
But you started this thread looking for 18" inchers... why the change of direction? There are more R-compound tires available in 18" sizes (more sizes too), and they are less expensive.

Also, did anybody else notice how **********s tuned out once the subject of load rating on the F14s came up?

I'm waiting on a set of Yokohama Advan RS wheels in 18x9 and 18x10 with the perfect offsets for E9x (24mm and 20mm respectively, no spacers needed). I haven't heard these metioned. Compared to some of the other wheels mentioned on here, they are very competively priced. I believe WSTO normally sells them for $2600/set. They have a good rep, relatively lightweight, are strong, come with the correct center bore, etc.

Richard already mentioned those in his OP and he didn't like the style.

On a different note, I like the SP600 and wonder if they made them in 5x120 bolt pattern instead of 6 bolts.

Ah, sorry... didn't see that. Personally, I don't see what's so off-puting. they're just a simple 10-spoke design. However, the quality of the construction and finish is so damn nice in person, it's hard not to like them. But alas, they are more function over form. They have every conceivable thing one could want in a performance wheel, perhaps Richard will see the light
