Tischer BMW (US Shipping Only!?)
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone from Canada has troubles ordering parts from Tischer to ship to Canada? My order was just cancelled, and I swear I have purchased many things from them in the past year, that were shipped to my address in Canada. Thx!

Dont remember when, but a little while back, they mentioned that they were no longer able to ship to Canada. I think its a Dealer Agreement type thing.

Man,
This really sucks. The cost disparity is huge when it comes to BMW parts (Canada vs US). Do you know of any other websites that sell OEM BMW parts, and as reputable as Tischer? Thx!

you can still order from tischer - arrange a pickup by your courier of choice. Just select local pickup in the delivery option when you are finalizing your order... when your order number is generated, give that info to the courier to pick up and ship to you

LeeD31 I also encountered this with Tischer and indeed it is a thing with US dealers shipping to Canada. Maybe we should get together and get them shipped the same courier as I see you are also in Edmonton. Shipping usually costs 38% of the cost of the thing purchased.

www.bimmerspecialist.com is a wicked site too... i've used it many times (shipping to Ontario). Cost is quoted in CDN 'to-your-door' prices... no extra duty or fees.
They may not have ALL the parts that Tischer have, but still lots, give 'em a try. |

Yup, unfortunately it's against any US-based BMW dealership's agreement with BMW to ship outside the US.....so we just can't do it anymore. We didn't realize we were breaking any rules before, so that's why we offered this service. Apparently a dealership in Canada complained that we were doing this...so the rule has been enforced.
Good news is that you can still purchase from us! You just need to either provide a US shipping address (ie. friend, family member, fellow forum member, boarder location, or shipping forwarding company) that can forward your order to your Canadian address, or arrange a pickup at our facility through a shipping carrier of your choice! ![]()
