Bav Tech Actual Values?
Can someone tell me if I can get throttle demand (pedal position) out of the Actual Values using BT? I need to log my lag problem with the DCT. I had a 3 full second Oh! Shit! moment today.

Joe, you need to get rid of that car. Get yourself a 6MT and be done.

Very good idea. I hope you get some good data. However, as I have stated previously, as much as this problem seems intricately tied to the DCT and DCT software what is really happening in a lag is that the throttle butterflies simply lag the actual gas pedal application. The revs don't climb for me during a lag say with both clutches engaged.

Why not just drive the car in manual mode? It's more fun and the car does exactly what you ask it to do. It's just like driving a manual without having to push in the clutch.

Good luck Joe. Luckily for me, the lag is basically gone since I got it updated last year. I hope you get it sorted soon. BMW is lucky the lag issue did not blow up on them like the Toyota gas pedal issue. Imagine if several M3 owners were in accidents because they pulled out and the car just sat there and lagged for 3 seconds...allowing a semi truck to smash into them. Scary. Be careful out there!
