I seriously think Bendo will cruzh Melendez. Won't be able to watch it as it plays out but will definitely check it out via bittorrent lol.

On a random note, I met Travis Browne today lol His elbow is still sore from the the TUF Finale haha

It was a really good card and man, the women delivered again! Cat's knees are a thing of beauty to watch
I switched on the tv the other night and they were replaying the event. I only caught round 2 and 3. I gave round 2 to Hall. I really think if Kelvin didn't get the takedown in round 3 at 3:45 he would have lost that round as I gave the edge to Hall up until that point. Makes me realise how close 3 round decision fights can be.

I'm loving these Strikeforce v UFC fights. I always wanted to see Frankie v Melendez, especially when Melendez was calling him out when they were both respective 155 champs. Hendo is a beast though. I think the first Hendo v Frankie fight could have gone either way but I gave it to Hendo just slightly, but the second fight I gave to Frankie for sure.

I'm not sure how Hendo v Melendez will go down. Hendo is a great athlete and he's in form. I wasn't too impressed with Melendez in his last fight.

yea, that was an epic fight. Matt Brown is a beast, so many KOs through out the card, one of the best cards of the year.

Close main event, I thought Bendo won 3-2 but the 2nd and 5th round were super close

I gave 2,3,4 to Bendo. Interesting "controversy" thread on Sherdog, claiming that a judge affiliated with C. Gracie was the sole judge that gave the fight to Gil.

BTW, did any of you see the lump on Gil's left shin? Was the size of a softball haha

yea, thats shaping up to be a sick card, also Matt Mitrione vs Brendan Schaub got added but think that'll be a prelim, the two you mentioned are for sure going to be on the main card

man, i have to go the opposite on all but the main event but mostly picking w/ my heart rather than brain.

I like Vinny vs Phil cause of his nasty bjj and Phil keeps saying he's going to take him down and sub him, you do not want to go to the ground w/ Vinny. People say how good Chris Weidman bjj is, well Vinny subed him in under a minute w/ a flying arm bar lol

I think Kongo chin is a lil too suspect to pick him over Big Country who has nasty power and a chin even Homer Simpson would be proud of

Bisping v Belcher, close fight, I think Bisping will win but I like Belcher cause of all the crap Bisping has been talking, would be nice to see Belcher win

I would love to pick Chael but I dont see any way he wins, I'm just hoping we get a holy shit moment like Vitor gave us

I always go against Bisping. Still love that Hendo/Bisping finale...

Jones
Belcher
Nelson
Undecided (if he's ref'ing, I'll vote for Miragliotta by eye poke submission in round 0)

Holy Smokes, the Preilms on the fox card were amazing O_O!!!

Brown vs Mein was a WAR!
Thompson vs Diaz. Smart game plan from Josh. Stay away from the punching range and keep chopping the legs and who knew, a few head kicks along the way. The welt on the right knee of Diaz is disturbing >_> Trash talking and hands down -_-; such a stupid idea. TKOed!
It would have been nice to see some takedowns from DC. Stupid gameplan had i'm just standing and not doing much in the clinch -_-; sigh. Wonder if he's gonna be staying in hw or moving down to lhw
Main event I scored the rounds Benson 2-3-4 and Melendez 1 with a draw on the 5th round. Jebus, Gill's leg is so red and whats up with his shoulder? Looks like there's a small golf ball inside o_O?! Benson winning twice on that night lol!

yea, man. great card

DC said he was mad nervous and kinda froze, so he stuck w/ what he did best. He said he wants to work on his bjj so he can take people down and not be scared of getting subed. I would think he's already pretty good, the way he fought against Barnett showed how improved he is but i guess octagon jitters got to him

Yeah, DC said all that at the post-fight presser. He'll look a lot better for sure in his next fight.

Bisping definitely knows how to promo a fight. Looking forward to him vs beltcher. Here's my pick of who I want to see win and who I thnk will win:

Jones v Sonnen : Jones (tho I want Sonnen to win)
Bisping v Belcher: Bisping
Kongo v Country: Country (Kongo with a flash win would be nice tho)
Vinny v Davis: Davis

Why would anyone want big mouth Sonnen to win? not sure why he gets a shot, he lost his last two, this is Dana making $ on the hype.

I would pick Jones over Sonnen every time. Sonnen is a cheater and JJ is a true champion, an extremely talented athlete that is actually on AS's level.

From an entertainment standpoint, CS is fun to watch but he's talked his way to where he is albeit he's proven to be a formidable opponent.

I enjoy self promotion and a good story but there's a line and you need to be professional.

I think the comments about his wife and country crossed that line. I still respect any person that steps in the cage but imho, CS lacks class.

Thing with CS is that I too thought he was like that until TUF and the promo for this fight. I'm sure he isn't a bad person and was just trying to get his hype train going. Do I agree with the things he's said about brazil and silva, hell no but I'm certain he didn't mean it. He went all WWE.

As for this ppv. I saw the results but couldn't see the event. I'll be checking out later tonight hopefully.
