Gee, straight out of the RNC fund raising power points comes yet another Republican name-calling issue-free piece of fund-raising trash aimed specifically at the stupid, the egotistical, and the easily frightened for the express purpose of taking their money.

It is funny to see exactly who it is here that is so easily manipulated by the RNC fund-raising ploys. It's like watching the people on Blue Blocker ads say how wonderful Blue Blocker sunglasses are.

Who would have ever known that this highly polished turd was part of a marketing ad campaign? Oh, just about anyone who saw these RNC internal fund raising power-points:

Nixon - it's hilarious because it just echoes what everyone with their head on straight in this country is feeling at this point (and for the most part knew before Obama made his mess... yes I said OBAMA, not Bush, although Bush wasn't completely innocent of creating problems himself).

Nice backhanded insult, buddy.

Please don't speak for me. I have my head on straight, and I do NOT feel the way that little cartoon said I do. That little cartoon is yet another in a long line of GOP talking points that get regurgitated at will by the GOP supporters.

And just because someone doesn't subscribe to YOUR personal view of how the president is doing, that does not give YOU the right to come out with insulting things like "everyone with their head screwed on straight agrees with this." Guess what dude, not everyone in this country agrees with your political views. By the way, what exactly is your idea of "having your head screwed on straight"?

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but you believe that anyone that supported Bush when he was President was wrong (I once supported him), just like I think that anyone that supports the lion's share of Obama's policies is wrong.

"head screwed on straight" is a figure of speech, expressed over an internet forum; get over it.

I was quite certain before writing my previous comment that you (and everyone posting on this board for that matter) believe that they each have their own heads screwed on straight when it comes to politics and what's best for America. I'm not trying to win a popularity contest.

We (as in the people 'with their heads screwed on straight') all knew where this country was headed with Obama at the helm. That's a large reason why the country saw one of the most politically divided and outspoken climates that it's seen in a long time.

I think it's fair to say that he hasn't deviated far from expectations as it relates to health reform, taxation of the middle class, handling our combat affairs overseas, among other things. But I will say that his ability as a charismatic orator did not take him as far as I thought it would. He's seeing much more resistance from both sides of the fence than he was only months ago.

I know that you will defend him and his anti-business, pro welfare/middle class agenda to the very end; I know that I'm talking to a wall.

In 3-4 years, when this country is worse off than it is now (unless something changes), you'll still be refuting every 'GOP talking point' that comes up, you'll still be blaming Bush, and you'll still be refueling your liberal crock pot every time Obama takes to the public stage and gives you a false sense of energy and patriotism.

Notice that at no point until now did I utter the word "socialism". Man, I am proud of myself.

This hits the nail on the head. The last bastion of defense as to why Obama was better than Bush is falling apart.

I just don't understand why people are blindly sticking to their guns with Obama. He's a disappointment, but what disappoints me more is the average American's inability to recognize that or maybe to even care about his political performance.

In no way am I saying anything good about Bush here. Let me just make that clear. The guy was a mess. But there's no way any educated person can argue Obama is any better.

When are we going to stop basing the judgement of his performance in a relative sense to the previous President, and start holding him accountable for doing a satisfactory job? If the best Democrats can do in his defense is compare him to Bush, then he's obviously already got FAIL stamped across his forehead.
