Need help finding certain parts for electronic steering wheel

So I Just bought an v1 electronic steering wheel from a member on this forum. But little did I know that I only receive the steering wheel. I still need the retro fit cable, control module and coil spring cartridge. I call the person who sold it and ask him. He said he will get the shop that Install it originally to look into to it. But just in case they can't find it. Does anyone know where I can order those parts? I call BMW and they said I have to buy the whole kit which include the steering wheel. Which I crazy. So I need help guys. I have an 08 e90. And if parts can't be found then I should return the wheel and get my money back correct? Thank you ahead.

This question has come up a few times with no success. I don't think those parts are available separately, not to mention the wheel is no longer available in V1 form.

Thanks for the info. If that's the case then I'm gonna send to get my money back from the seller if he can't find all the parts

When I had this issue 4.5 years ago, the dealer wanted $1900 for the wiring parts. HA!! More than the whole wheel!

I'm gonna try to call BMW directly to see if they would be willing to sell the parts individually

correct, I had the same thing happen, even called BMW and they told me it is not separate and I would have to buy a complete kit. Also, if you have the first gen electronic steering wheel you are more out of luck as they no longer make it

I would not wait to get my money back. There is a time frame to do so without major hassle.

Should have done the research. Wheel is out of production.

If you have the opportunity to get your money back do it and start over again. Procuring the parts for a V1 a la carte is not worth it.
