You can probably source the H8 bulbs when they come out, and they should be plug and play like similar solutions from AiB or LUX (probably).

Will it still be a H8 bulb?

Will the optical rings be the same design as the pre LCI? Or will that also be redesigned to better suit a LED light source?

Can you already buy an OEM bulb for a new 5 series GT? Is this a H8 fitting?

Why did they change the shape of the headlights? They could just have left the same one and added LED. If you put LED bulbs is will not look good, the inner ring will always be brighter. But look at the 5 F10 or 3 E92 LCI, all four rings are the same bright and white.

The reason is that the 359M wheels that come with the competition package have a slightly smaller negative offset (i.e. give the car a slightly wider track), and the DSC and suspension are calibrated to take this into account. That said, you could probably put the 220M (standard 19") on yourself without trouble. Keep in mind the 220M are 1/2 inch narrower, meaning they cannot accommodate as wide of rubber as the 359M.

Yes I know the answer. But it would be even cheaper to keep the same housing and change only inside, the LED blinkers and rings. In this way no need to change the bumpers at all. And so no need face lift. Let BMW put LED everywhere and no need spend more money on styling, but do pretty design from the begining. BMW 7 F01 and Z4 E89 are just ugly with there neither withe nor yellow corona rings.

History repeats itself, same thing with e46, ci and cic received new headlights and taillights while the M3 coupe and Vert only received the new, LED, taillights...

They should have included the new headlights as well but I guess the subtle change is okay. I actually prefer the pre-LCI taillights to be honest.

Ours look not only better; WAY better IMO. They look like cheap overseas offerings

That's how it should be. The original front ends on both the E46 and E90/92 M3's look much better than the LCI on the standard models.
