So now Steve Jobs wants me to carry my iPhone, iPod, Macbook pro AND an iPad in my brief case...sorry Steve, no more room for this gadget. Did you forget about the "Newton" failure?

Looks like the shareholders agree with me.

I wouldn't go that far.. I think we will all be surprised with how well the ibook store does, but I agree that the devise lacks that one thing that would make it invaluable.

The keyboard addon is cool as well as the dock which makes it a digital picture frame.

you can do that on the iPhone already... plus it has this funny thing called a phone. why would you want to carry around a phone a laptop and a book reader?? when all you need fits in your pocket.

Looks kinda cool. Price is decent. I'll have to play with one before I can judge.

I don't think it will fail though.

At that price, the thing is a joke. No multitasking, no Flash, no camera. That hardware with a slightly modified OSX 10.6 would have been a hit.

I'll stick with my Vaio X.

Enjoy your future full of micro-transactions. Buying a iPad and then using the keyboard attachment... Might as well have just gotten an full iMac. You'd at least have a proper OS then.

Personally, the only appeal a Tablet style device holds is to be at home, find a cool webpage and be able to hand it over to someone to share like its a piece of paper. Beyond that, other devices beat it in either ease of use, overall functionality, or just plain portability.

Yah it looks nice. But a net book got 100 x the power of the POS. no Flash or java. and only being able to run one thing at a time.I will take a net book any day.
Or Nvidia Tegra powered tablet
