lol Jason good to hear from you. Yea i used to race these little guys on a big track at a local hobby store parking lot on sundays. It has been well over 10 years since I have played with them and they still work!

Im just looking for another toolbox similar to the one i used to use for my newer models.

Ah yeah, I remember those crazy track that they used to use. Try getting a toolbox for fishing as it has a lot more room than the Tamiya box.

I still have my Avanti from WAY back. Before all the nice extended guided and all. Had the crap tires, the little plastic guides and all that jazz. Man those things were a blast. I had 5 or 6 at least.

Didn't quite compare to my B3 though. Damn I need to get back into R/C.

I don't want to give the servos because the main reason is they are on the only car I kept. Two they were upgraded to all metal gear ones they were about 100 bucks each at the time model number futaba 9109.

I was only 9 when I had my first Tamiya 4WD. It was the Avanti 2001, and the Egress both had the special grey chassis with the one way wheel set and foam tires. I woud glue O-rings on ball-bearings to act as the roller guides to keep them from flying off the track. For my birthday, I got the official Tamiya Mini-4WD toolbox. It filled up 4 cars and my spares. Those were the good ol days.

Now I race with these things. Kinda like the Tamiya Mini-4WD but now it's R/C.
