Caddy's new 7 Series/S-Class/A8 competitor: The XTS Platinum Concept
Info can be found here:http://www.autoblog.com/2010/01/12/d...o-replace-sts/
Not bad; a huge step for Caddilac coming from the DTS. Uses a V6 and hybrid system to make 350bhp and 295lb-ft. The interior looks good. The front isn't to my taste. The exterior is alright. Again, not bad, but nothing that really piques my interest. I'll still think Caddy's only design hits so far entails the CTS lineup. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Wow. I'm not a big Caddilac fan since they usually look quite short and awkward with sharp angles. However, this looks great. Proportions are good, roofline is great since it's not too angular. It looks slightly bland but for this class of car it is fitting. Interior is nice too.
However, I can see me still going for either the Audi A8 or BMW 7. I still need to see this new XJ on the road.

1st: Interior is amazing. Quite impressive indeed. I would love my purchase every time I stepped into it.
2nd: The rear end is beautiful. Love it. 3rd: The front is blah! Cadillac has been making a name for itself by being angular. I see a bunch of bland GM swoops in that front end. Tacky.

The interior is very nicely done. The suede is a beautiful added touch. The exterior, however, I find very dull and the proportions seem off somehow, especially the side profile. Perhaps the wheels are too small for the body? Just kind of looks like a big block of metal.

It looks OK. Something is missing in the design. I dunno what but something. It's probably to bland.

Caddy should have taken this big of a design change years ago. Interiors are far better, although we'll see how much of that stuff actually makes it to production.

I thought we left the simulated gauge clusters in the 80s?
