Nitto NT05

Does anybody have any good experience with the Nitto NT05's running the stock 19" wheels?

Thanks...

I am running NT05 on my stock 18", not 19". The size is 265/35-18 and 275/35-18.

They are not as quiet as PS2 on everyday ride but much more predictable on the track. For the price you pay, 220/ea front and 230/ea rear, I think it is a decent tire.

I have them!!

good traction, good grip, bad treadwear they don't last for shit.

overall its a good tire just needs to have a bit better tread wear

Get the RE-11 or AD08. Worth the extra money considering the NT-05 comes shaved.

I am debating this exact decision right now. #1 choice is the NT05's followed by the RE-11's and then the AD08's but I dont really like the tread on those.

I have always run nittos and loved them, but with these I am worried about tread wear and noise. Im wondering how bad it really is.

Please tell me the feel and performance will be worth it? Ill be on 19's lowered on H&R Sports.

What do you guys think?

I hear the grip levels of the NT-05s are very comparable to the RE-11's and AD08s but the NT-05's get very noisy down the road.

it's a stiff tire and as such lots of road noise gets transferred into the cabin. however, bring it onto a dry track and then you'll see them perform! just went to infineon last weekend and had a BLAST. they're a great aggressive street tire for the track... tons of grip, doesn't get greasy, and is able to handle the temps.

my only gripe is the life of the tire. mine lasted about a year with a combo of street/track driving.

i'd really like to compare against the re-11's since i had re01r's before in the past.
