This car doesn't sound like an american V8 no matter what exhaust you put on it. It has to do with engine design, not muffler selection. That is why you find almost everyone just suggests the exhaust that they own. However it is true that some emphasis the high notes more than others, and all the exhausts sound different, but they are all going to have similarities in the overall sound.

the op asked what sounds the most exotic...not what is the best made, or best company...

and i could be wrong about this but i believe it was the distribution company that was selling meistershaft as eisenmann

and i have the AKRAPOVIC and honestly not the best sounding exhaust at all IMO...its cool, but not inspiring, doesnt make me want to step on the gas or keep revs high to hear it....when i had the eisenmann race that exhaust inspired me, i always would downshift to 1st whenever coming to a stop just to hear it burble.

When I first got my car I was running no mufflers. Just straight pipe with tips at the end from the axle back, everything else was stock. IMO that was the most exotic my car ever sounded. Had a real high pitch to it, similar to a Ferrari tone.

Most exhaust systems for this car sound pretty good tho.

This thread is dumb. Everyone posting is saying "mine's the best, mine's the best"

Akrapovic???? LOL...doesn't sound exotic AT ALL. Don't get me wrong it is an amazing exhaust...but come on.

I've had the Meisterschaft for the E92 M3. The exhaust sounded amazing and I was very impressed with the quality. Thing was solid as a rock.

All this shit you're talking about happened years ago and everyone got refunded. Time to let it go.

+1

Just like the "which angel eyes are best?" "which under drive pulley is best" "which SSK is best"..... If you want to know all you have to do is look at everyone's signature. Everyone just is just going to post which ever one they bought. Only a handful of people on here have owned more than one for any specific category, and are the only ones who seem to give a fair review.

I also would have to say Meisterschaft with full x pipe sounds AMAZING. Here is a thread by Alias and his amazing exhaust system!

I can vouch for the Remus Race with xpipe. However i have the fabspeed xpipe.

Anyone who hears my car, well, the first thing ppl always say is my car sounds unbelievable. I, just like u, was looking for that f1 pitched sound. Kinda like the f430. Let em tell u buddy. This system i think gets as close to that as possible. At wot its

i agree with you on this. When i installed my Meisterschaft GTS exhaust. I took off the axel back and revved it. Boy it was the most intoxicating exhaust note i ever had. I told my dad i was going to keep it like that and drive because it was like the best sounding exhaust ever. But he yelled at me.:-(

Too much. I think $5-6k for just axle-back. It does sound awesome, though.

I had a thread like this a couple of months ago. I have the Akra mid-pipe and am leaning towards pairing it with the Vanguard. The Akra mid-pipe with stock exhaust makes some noises I like, but it needs a good rear section pairing for a classier/finished sound.

The Akra full system is too subdued.
