Why are some people so worried about how the car is being transported?
Driving the car on the actual roads will do more ''harm'' as some referes it as. Your car will be perfectly fine dude, I'd just wash of all the salt/dirt off it at arrival.

Looks cool seeing it on top

IMO, the OP's car will be fine on the top deck, and other than a good wash at the final destination, is a lot less exposed to road hazard on that truck than driving it that distance at this time of year.

Relax.

at the end of the day, to me the m3 is just a 3 series car. its not some hyper exotic lambo or ferrari, etc... in fact i have friends who drive their 911s everyday throughout winter and i know their cars are worth more than mine. not to mention the fact that there are so many S-class, 7 series, etc on the streets that are also worth more than our m3s when new...

so ignore those idiots that think this is 'bad' for the car... its JUST an m3!!
...whatever people, if BMW used your logic, they along with other premium car owners would ship cars like the OP as opposed to a covered carrier. Then, these same people would whine and complain if their car had any paint blemishes on delivery. Covered carriers exist for a reason PROTECTION, enough said!

the only car that i know of that gets shipped 'fully protected' is the lambo reventon.

it gets shipped in a wooden crate! completely covered. on all 6 sides. an m3 is just another lowly 3 series... it will never get treatment like this.

...yeah looks like , it was originally intended as a precautionary heads-up, if the OP was unaware. However, several of the jackals in this forum who love to banter over 'nothing' smelled blood and reacted predictably like Pavlov's dogs.

Anyway, it's a fact BMW DOES ship cars covered to dealers, at least the previous 8 (eight) I ordered and taken delivery (in CA, GA, TX & MN). I could give a shit less how anyone else ships or drives, it ain't my ride .

...game over!

OP, your car should make the trip just fine.

Anyway, when you and your car are here in AZ we will have to meet up!
