Step Brother

Just got a new addition to the family on Thursday. Can't give much of a review yet because I just got the winter tires on today. So far from what I can tell is the AMG is a absolute beast. It handles way better than I thought it would. The exhaust is really throaty and its always gurgling It's not as loud as the AA exhaust but I'm still in the break in so I haven't been over 4500 rpm's yet. I was surprised how stiff the suspension was. It feels somewhere between stiff and normal edc. The interior is nice the multimedia/nav looks way better than my 08 idrive. The seats are nice, luckily I'm not than big of a guy because the side bolsters are really tight. The torque is unreal. I will give a better review after the break in.
I will try to get some better pics once I get some tint and get rid of the reflectors

Nice addition, but I'm a little confused. The C-series is a direct competitor to the 3 series so I feel a C63 while awesome is close in dimensions and performance to the M3. Just wondering why you didn't want the new E63 which by all accounts is a beast?

Ya its nice having the garage in the back. It looks nice because you don't see the garage, but its a pain in the arse sometimes having to turn around.

I would love a e63 but, is about a extra 40 g's. I couldn't imagine the haterz if I had a m3 and a e63

great car.... I got the reverse combo in my garage AW M3 and Black C63. The C63 really is a beast, and the sound from the factory exhaust is sweet.

Is the C63 quieter on the highway than the M3? Just curious. And I understand the new E63 is based on the C chassis, so why pay more?

This was strange...on the parkway the other day, a C63 jumped on the throttle and, not only did the thing roar but a massive cloud of black smoke came out of the tail pipes. Do you think this was a one-off or does the engine (that has DI) have a tendancy to build up carbon?

It's definitely more quiet cruising than my AA exhaust. I can't really remember what stock sounds like but I think its about the same.

I'm loving every moment with the car right now. I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it is. I can't believe how well it handles and how good the steering is. Two thumbs up so far.
