Just seems like ZPP is pretty damn expensive for basically just leather.

the only thing that I would use from the premium pack is:
lumbar support and the mirrors maybe the garage opener

I use every feature of the premium pack. Well, except for BMW Assist. Matter of fact, I never set up the feature with the operator on the other end (set your password and all that other stuff).

The autodimming mirrors with compass are excellent.
The homelink is quite useful.

Garage List
ZPP
ZSP
auto
navi
logic 7

if you just bring down to the more basic but yet, more than enough of what you need, like above, very common combo of a loaded 335i, it should be running between low $50-$52k max

You will NEVER regret getting more options than you need. You will OFTEN regret not getting options you want. Get what you want.

That said, here is what I'd dump from your list:

Active Steering: Unnecessary, but get it if you want.
STEPTRONIC automatic transmission: Hell, no.
Active Cruise Control: Unnecessary.
Power rear sunshade: Unnecessary, but get it if you want.
Anti-theft alarm system: Unnecessary. Dump it.
Automatic high beams: This is an option? Dump it.

Is this because you haven't gotten it to work with your garage? I love mine. It works from about a block away and is far more convenient than having a separate fob.
