Staggered or Squared up?? help pls

Hey guys,

I'm getting a set of 19's for my E92. I have been debating getting a staggered setup or square setup.

The setups Im considering are:
19x9.5 all around
or
19x8.5 in the front and 19x9.5 in the back

Are there any down sides to getting 9.5 all around? Any advantages(besides rotating)?

Same with 8.5F and 9.5R, any positives or negatives?

Thanks in advance

You need to go with the staggered setup. Try to keep the front/rear tire width ratio consistent with what BMW specified on factory wheels in order to keep the car balanced (i.e., oversteer and understeer).

just my two cents..

The car has a lovely balance on the standard sized wheels and tyres but that doesn't seem to stop loads of peeps putting all sorts of wierd combinations of wheel and tyre sizes on their car regardless of how its going to screw up the balance so you just have to decide on whether you want form or function (me I'd stick to standard).

I hear you. Thats the reason I've held off so long on wheels. I have stock 18s and i LOVE how they feel. But I do want better looking wheels. So I figured I would step it up an inch (cant hurt since BMW offers 19s stock) and go wider a lil. I dont think 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 will mess up the balance or ride.

thanks for the feedback guys
