I have 35k on my 08' and my check engine light went on. The malfunction was "Fule Injector Permanent Malfunction" they had to replace (injectors, decoupling element, ignition coil and spark plugs). This was all due to "bad gas" over 10% ethanol they said good thing I am still under warranty.
Any ideas what this service would cost out of warranty?

Hopefully Shell keeps the 91 v-power at 0% ethanol.

I guess we have no way to avoid it... Roll the dice and see what happens.

Maybe in Canada. But around here (and most places in the US), it is literally impossible to buy anything with no ethanol, including Shell 93. There's nowhere within 200 miles of me that has E0 fuel except maybe tracks selling race fuel. It's utter B.S.

^^ That map paints a prettier picture than reality, at least for the Commonwealth of VA. It's because fuel distributors and suppliers are being pressured to sell ONLY the RFG blends.
There are only a handful of E0 stations in all of Virginia, and I suspect it's much the same elsewhere in the country. Here's a thread on the topic: http://www.virginiagasprices.com/For...age_no=1&FAV=N

I spend a lot of time in Florida and I have not seen a gas station that sells E0 gasoline.
