Yep! Today was the first real Blizzaks test and they passed with flying colors. At one point I was stopped on an uphill in the left lane, able to turn right in front of all the FWD yahoos without good tires who were spinning the morning away.

I have to say this stuff is FUN to drive in when you can get far enough away to be free of worrying about what everyone else is doing. Love it. Just wish I had more than 3" bumper clearance.

Even though she's my daily driver, I try to keep her ion the garage on the snow days (steal the wife's SUV). Just hate to see her all crapped up. But I do understand, a daily driver is a dailey driver.

So the Blizzaks are the clear winner? Mental note, if I ever decide to take the leap and put snows on.

I think so. They came highly recommended by folks on the RMC BMW CCA forum along with this one. So far, no problems... except on warmer days when I forget they're on & hustle around a corner. They're not as sticky as PS2s

I would take my husbands 2500 diesel truck if he would let me, but his E36 M3 track car isn't exactly a substitute for him. So I'm "banished" to my DD (as if I would ever complain!). Luckily we have lots of nice weather here, so it gets pampered with a good cleaning often enough.

Depends on which Blizzak you are referring to, although most all would be closer to the bottom of my list than the top. There are better options out there, either for a performance winter or serious snow/ice tire.

dnvrdrvr, nice to see a fellow JB E90. Wonder if i will see you driving around town.

I'm in South Denver (live in Parker, work in the Tech Center). To be honest the only other E9x M3 I've even seen in the area has either been sitting on a dealership lot or at the BMW CCA DE events... Where you at?

Cherry Creek area. Don't see many others but oddly enough one I did see coincidentally drove by my house and stopped when he saw me outside with the car. It was another JB/Black E90...

I think I've only ever seen 2-3 E90/E92 around here since I've had my car...outside of CCA events. I know there are a handful up in Boulder, but I never see them.
