Arrow Moton Installation Question

Just got a set of Motons and have some questions. I would really appreciate anyone's help!

1) I am wondering if the kit is supposed to come with wrenches to adjust the ride height?
No. It can be ordered separately. Spanner wrenches are usually not needed.

2) On the front strut piston (1st pic), I noticed that the Moton kit came with a conical washer. Where is it supposed to go? Above or below the stock guidesupport? In what orientation? (see 3rd pic)
The washer is meant to center the strut piston because it is smaller in diameter vs. the stock support bearing. However, a sleeve has been added to the kit for easier installation.

3) In the rear (final pic), are parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 basically going to be replaced by Moton parts?
Yes.

Red are answers per James Clay at BimmerWorld.

Don't know the answers as I did not install my kit. I'm sure the guys at Bimmerworld can answer them....

BC

PS - answer to number 1 is no.

I installed mine and can tell you that you don't need the conical washer if you are running the stock upper mounts.

Spanner wrenches were not included for the ride height adjustment. I had my own, but you can probaby get away with taping it with a screwdriver of some sort. Your vendor should be able to give you recommeded perch heights to save you some trial and error.

Isn't the front strut piston rod smaller than the stock guidesupport bearing though? I think the conical washer is used to center the piston rod.

I am thinking about buying a set of bearing sleeves to fill the gap...

If you need some additional components - I'd call Lex Carson at Moton and get them to take care of you.

Thx,
BC

Did your kit come with a sleeve or he's saying this has been added to future kits? The sleeve is what you are trying to replicate with buying bearing sleeves correct?

Yup my kit is one of the first kits out, so it did not have the sleeves. Bimmerworld is sending me the (bearing) sleeves.

Thanks! This kit is next up on my mod list. Make sure you post a detailed review after they are installed.
