Thumbs down RIPPED OFF by 'imballin2day' Golan Haiem Buyer Beware

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=328740

item sent by the seller was NOT as described. false advertisement with hard evidence shown to the seller, yet still refused refund.

Seller insist that i must first put on this 'headerback exhaust' system and if i dont like it, then he will give me a refund. Yet, he sent me an cat-back exhaust cut in pieces. it should be common sense that a cat-back exhaust can NOT be installed like a headerback exhaust system. any 3 year-old knew this.
on top of all that. To install this would mean sacrificing of the OEM exhaust and misalignment of exhaust tips.

the seller is demanding the buyer to do the 'impossibles' or he will not refund them. Seller is a scammer highly skilled at illogical reasoning to make you give up trying to reason with him. This is the method seller uses to deny refunds and is his way of getting away.

dont be the next victim. you do not want to go through filing the police reports and the headaches that i am going through right now.

Wasn't there another member upset with him a while ago over another private sale dispute? This guy seems shady to me.

dude, you didnt get ripped off. You simply didnt ask enough questions as any buyer would.

you saw the system, and was told it was junk and just didnt want it and started piling up a bunch of crap to get your refund..

if you would have done it all in the proper way, i believe you'd get a refund but you had to get all hectic and crazy and talked smack at the start

and the system wouldent end up misaligning the tips, they sat perfect on his car.

and police report? you have the product in your hand.. dont make a fool of yourself.

you're one of those customers that will always complain over every product, and its honestly disgusting. I've worked with plenty of your type and sacrafised a lot to satisfy bc i believe in customer first, but it's def disgusting and annoying.

good luck with your police report, im sure FBI will trace him down and put ur report #1 on their list

my suggestion ... call up this dude, and speak to him as you'd like to be spoken to, maybe ud get an honest reply

i understand your felt for a need to defend your friend but if you read the thread closely you will see that all the attempts you are asking me to do has been done (with solid proof).

the fact is simple, imballin2day sold me something totally different from what he was describing (with his own words, see page 5). hence, this is why i am experiencing all the difficulties in installing this 'headerback system'.

come on man, dont be mad, just calm down. you are a good friend, and i will not stop you from buying stuff from him.

this is really a transaction between me and imballin2day. and since I did call him and PM'd him and he chose not to respond, what else am i suppose to do?

since i have all the hard evidence for been defrauded. not filing a police report would be a 'fool'. but thank god i did and will follow through with it.

Send a message via AIM to imballin2day
I''m not going to argue with you like I did in the last thread. I was accused before this and the buyer (catch) got his refund in the end because there was a miscommunication and paypal screwed up. I told him from the very beginning he would get a refund and he did and the problem was solved.

I am telling you now you will not get a refund because you do NOT deserve one. You are possibly the most ignorant user on this forum. I think you expected a complete bolt on masterpiece. GET REAL YOU PAYED $1000 SHIPPED for this system. Stop complaining. In the end the system fits and you have no case.

Oh and for the police report: Good luck.

But too bad for the OP, because the seller was shady and isn't going to refund him anything. If the exhaust was worth 5K he shouldn't have a problem refunding him $1000 and selling it at least for $1300.

s'imballin2day' had reassured me the exhaust system he is selling me is a full headerback exhaust system which in its nature implies that its a full bolt on system already.

'fitment' is a subjective term. of course, its always possible to fit your 'cat-back' exhaust system with chopped up muffler onto any car, even onto a motorcycle if one has enough means.

false advertisement on the other hand is not so subjective.

ps. anyone who can help me facilitate the legal process, please PM me.

No offense Leeor but its very clear that you know the forum member in question (imballin2day) and have been clearly sticking up for him with your multiple posts on these threads.

Yes, its between two members on this forum but its obvious that the seller did not sell the product in a fully honest way to the buyer. And the seller is not giving a refund to the buyer for false-advertised goods.

I believe this particular section is to discuss and share with other members issues with sellers/vendors, and this is definitely a case where members should know what goes on with a seller like imballin2day.

OP sorry about your bad luck. There will always be so many risks on purchasing "Custom" exhausts especially off people that are testing. To me the exhaust doesn't even look that great, personally I would have wanted something a little more "refined".

Hope you guys get this settled.

BTW, I still never got the straight cord for the V1 I bought from Imballin. He promised that I would get everything that came with the V1, which included the straight cord, but I still haven't received that.
