Who told you that the SRF brake fluid had to be changed every 12 months?

That is correct, I paid $79.95 per bottle

Well it says on the bottle that due to the characteristics of the Fluid the maximum time between changes is 18 months. After reading the bottle I did some more research and found that it can become harmful to the brake system if the change interval is not followed strictly.

I know it is the best fluid money can buy but I am never going to approach the 600 degree F boiling point with my usage.

I bought 4 litres of ATE Super Blue, 4 litres of ATE Type 200, a Motive Power Bleeder and a TMS Magnetic Catch bottle. The Super Blue (Blue in colour) and Type 200 (Amber in colour) are the exact same fluids but in different colors to make changes easier by confirming when you have totally flushed the system out when the colour changes from the colour of the current fluid to the fluid you are flushing with.

I realize I am going a little overkill on this but I want to keep my Brembo 380mm BBK in good working order by keeping the system free of moisture with fresh fluid. I am paying enough for it and don't mind a bit of extra maintenance.
