They could be. We haven't heard from the OP in a couple of days, and some have noted he hasn't responded to PMs.

I know it's shocking, but some people don't actually log into this forum for several days at a time.

Sorry guys. I've been really busy at work. All PM's replied. I've compiled a list and will be going doing down it one by one. I'll know details on Friday on how exactly to handle the transaction with RAC.

I was about to get the G2's when this GB came up. Can't go wrong with either wheel.

I doubt you'll find a lighter wheel at this size that's 8000 TON forged and JWL certified.

Aren't you suppose to be in Maui?
Make sure you hit Sansei, especially for the early bird- 25% off!!

Dibs. Sold. I will take them. Unless of course someone had called super double dibs . . . .

My wife is so going to kill me, two or three times, for picking up a second set of RG63s . . . .

You are selling these wheels way below market value IMO. Why not simply wait until you get them and then sell them. I bet you can get $5k or more. I considered increasing my order to 10 sets as an investment and then selling them, but I missed the deadline.

Great minds obviously think alike! I was thinking of exactly the same thing, but procrastinated.

My recommendation to you would be to start a second thread, " RAC Group Buy II?" and collect names. If RAC sees there is sufficient interest, I suspect they would agree to do another order. As I mentioned earlier, RAC doesn't market their wheels. It's always been word-of-mouth based upon the very high quality. They typically only respond when customers ask for them in sufficient numbers.

However, you might want to wait until the end of this month when the first shipment arrives. Once the pictures start showing up, I suspect demand will be very high.

Sounds like a good idea - looks like there's 3 that are interested & responded & probably a few more like myself that just PM'd late.

I hope you corrected your balance number as the second amount is $1950, not $1800.

i think you would have a hard time selling a set of those at 5k. i believe the Neez wheels are a bit lighter and i have seem them for less then 5k and even 4k for a set from some vendors. in this current economy i don't think they would go so fast at 5k a set. if you had the time to sit on them for some time then eventually maybe they would. i think he did the right thing since he wanted to move them fast and not wait.

just my op no offense in any way

No worries. I do think these wheels are much hotter than the Neez though, and they are sought after by people who want to buy RAC as in it is a niche product. Yes, that would mean they wouldn't sell as quickly at $5k, but I think they would. Regardless, the market would/will tell...

The E9x M3 fitment TE37 G2 is larger (19x9.5) and lighter (20.1lbs), but you're right - you're not going to find anything much lighter than these in a 19" forged rim.

i agree it is a hot wheel without a doubt and a great high quality product. if i had my car and saw this GB i would have ordered a set if not a couple to change out the look as well.

if you know of anyone that would be selling one in a black color let me know as i may be interested. i bought a VMR V710 to through some blizzaks on for the winter but come spring i will be looking for a good quality light wheel. maybe by then some people will be selling there RAC's

enjoy yours

H

If they are certified, as the RAC's are, those weights may be about to change. Shep had to add a bit of material to meet the new (and I would guess, higher) standard.
