Disable EDC without EDC emulator?

Is it possible to disable the EDC function without using EDC emulator like included in the KW v3?
The reason is that I should install Sachs Performance coilovers.
They are spec to fit the BMW M3 E92.
But I have EDC on the car right now.

Could the function be disabled by BMW?
Do I get errors when I start the car?

You will get an error without the emulator. It will have a non-stop picture of a coilover on dash and in idrive.
So if you could live with the annoyance, sure, you don't have to run it, but I'd rather not throw that code and store it every time I start my car

If I don't want error and do not have the EDC emulator.

Since you live in Europe, I think private shops are able to disable the warning for you. They would have to take it out of the vehicle order (VO) which is the options list of the car that the computer knows to look for.
