Titanium Silver E93 M3 on order!

Hey all, I just thought I'd share the news of my Titanium Silver (knock it as much as you want, but I love the color) M3 convertible order. Got a production number and vehicle inquiry print-out from my CA today. Went for September production and gonna do Performance Center Delivery.

Ordered: '11 M3 convertible, Titanium Silver, Black extended, ZCV, ZP2, 2MK, 2MT, Heated fronts (why not?), and Enhanced Sound.

I noticed I have some option 8TL (Daytime driving lights front and rear active). Was that on everyone's order sheet? I also have a few online services things on the sheet and a combox thing (iPod Out feature??).

Can't wait!!!!!

Congrats! I wish TiAg was available on the E9X without having to go through Individual.

How do you go thru the process of getting a special exterior color ordered? How much more do they charge for the special colors?

You ask your salesman (client advisor). It isn't cheap though; US$ 5k for an individual color.

wanted to order my M in that color but I didn't want to go through all the hassle of getting approved and such (too lazy

). Next was JB but I have this thing against swirls on black cars. eyesores. In the end, decided on being 'normal' and got AW

I have a Mac so you just push a key combination to crop out a shot of your screen and it saves it as a jpeg. Pretty handy since you pick what you want taken.. use it all the time.

The Combox isn't for the iphone out feature. It's for the new changes for bluetooth and Ipod (see September update). Also I see that you got the convenience package. Do you know the price of this package? My SA was still waiting on pricing.

I felt if I was splurging for a special order color, I could do the same for the interior... Plus they say the new convertibles have sun reflective leather.

I don't know the price of the convenience package or the "premium 2" package I ordered (premium 2 doesn't show on owners circle). My salesman and I agreed to a little over invoice, and he's been pretty good at showing me dealer invoice so not too concerned.

All the convertibles currently have the sun reflective leather. My question was really pointed more towards the rationale of extended leather when its all black. You'll never see a difference. If it was a colored leather, you'd see the extension of the leather onto the underside of dash and center console but in black, it seems like a waste of money. Just curious if Im missing something. Sounds like its gonna be a real nice car. Cant wait to see it.

I agree. A friend of mine at the dealership ordered Extended Black Novillo and I really had to look hard to tell the difference. Since my kids have the unfortunate habit of kicking the glovebox on their way in and out of the car, I thought it prudent to stay away. On a similar note, I am noticing that the steering wheel is starting to show a bit of wear from my jeans rubbing against it when I get in and out of the car. I need to find a different way to slide in or start remembering to raise it out of the way before I get out.

Wow, you already have a production number, damn! I've got a silverstone E93 M3 on order for October ED, and just received a package from the Euro Delivery department at BMW NA yesterday. Does anyone know if 2011 (September build w/new package options) invoice pricing has come out yet?

I would have ordered my car that way if it were offered as a non-individual option, since I didn't like Silverstone. I'm very happy with the IB though.
