It's my very first time to set up the car after SC'ed, I can see the car doing 1:52 after some minor suspension and aero tuning. I don't think any street legal NA M3 can do under 1:55 at Button.

SC'ed M3's are faster in general, but stop and go type of track layout will be benefit the most such as Laguna Seca, SOW, etc. Of course, anytime when we move from NA car to FI, we wouldn't expect they set up in the same way. That's why you might see some SC'ed M3's doing similar lap time to the NA.

2:01 with your setup = 1:56 w/ coilover+bbk+R-comp!

Hey thanks! Not so bad yourself. I knew you were going to get into the 42s--I was hoping to get into the 44s so I could keep the gap at 2 seconds. Got close, but no cigar.

Really liked running with the Apple Car Club. Few cars, and they were all very fast.

Apologies for shaky video. This is one of the cleaner laps in my 2010 E90 BMW M3 @ Tarheel Sports Car Club event at VIR North on April 6th - 7th 2013. Thanks to THSCC for an excellent event.

I was running in blue group. First time I had E9x on track. Knowing my Spec E30 friends run 1:47s, me running 1:51 in E90 is pretty sad. I have plenty of excuses ready

- Never tracked it before.
- Pilot Super Sport street tires
- No proper seats, which makes huge difference for me. My knee is sore from digging into the door.

Still was fun. Car is crazy fast. I just don't have the balls to push it much harder. I was rather timid on the throttle and did not run WOT on the start/finish straight most of the time. But I did run with DSC/MDM off and saved some nice slides over the weekend.

I was at the same event as jbraslins in post above. After 5 years tracking 335's this was the first time out in the M3. It's still heavy and has it's weak points, but I was very impressed with how it performed. Particularly loved the DCT. ZCP actually does pretty well on the track.

My best was a 1:47.2. Went with Toyo R888's over the NT01's this time due to thread splice concerns and so far so good but then again didn't push it too hard. Will probably be back up there next month to run full course.
