So, bottom line, which X-pipe requires NO CUTTING?

I'm really confused by all the brands out there and have looked at most/all different versions. Could somebody please clarify which x-pipe or combination of parts I can get for my car that would require no cutting or irreversable modification of stock parts?

Thanks so much for your help in understanding this topic.

EXHAUST = no cutting required, IF the exhaust has connecting pipes (Ex: Eisenmann sells connecting pipes with their exhausts)

X-PIPE = no cutting required, IF the x-pipe has HFC's or has catless connecting pipes (Popular choice: Fabspeed)

If you buy an x-pipe be sure to buy high flow cats a well or if your going catless like me then catless straight pipes

Yup.

I can't stop staring at how good my Gintani X-pipe looks, alongside the rear section.

Complete bolt-on, indeed.

They have an option for 300 cell high-flow cats. I think it's a $500 option, check with them to be sure.

The fanbois are out on this one. None of the current X pipes require cutting.

Active AutoWerke, Riss Racing, and Agency power all include the flanges, too. No cutting on any of them.

Pretty much every X-Pipe in the market requires no cutting

I should have clarified the obvious. MOST aftermarket x-pipes do not require cutting or modifying, there bolt on, BUT to make this a plug and play mod, you NEED high flow cats, otherwise YES you will need to cut the stock primary cats in order to install your aftermarket x-pipe (clamps)

If it's a good, quality product that we are very happy owning, then I don't see why not.

Wrong. People buying X pipes without cats could give a rats ass about running cats and regardless, the product is still bolt on. If you choose to cut up that bolt on product to put cats in that is your problem.

Ha.... Im talking about the stock primary cats and x-pipe which is one piece, I was clarifying this to the OP! I was also on the market for JUST an x-pipe, I later found out that I would need to cut the stock x-pipe off in order to clamp on my aftermarket x-pipe.

OP said "Could somebody please clarify which x-pipe or combination of parts I can get for my car that would require no cutting or irreversable modification of stock parts?"

I clarified by saying that if you want to keep your stock primary cats and x-pipe in 1 piece/ no cutting....then you will either need to purchase an x-pipe WITH HFC's or Catless straight pipes...This is HOW the product will be bolt on, otherwise you will need to modify your stock parts...which the OP doesnt not want to do!

OBVIOUS: An x-pipe mod deletes the secondary cats, so all x-pipes are catless....
