So far, we only have 37 spectators registered..... the track is planning on allowing 200 to 250. So any one who wants to attend will probably get in with no problems. Fee is $10 per spectator. They will not even look at a spectator list until the 200th spectator has been admitted

Anyone want to caravan over from LA and OC? We can meet in Sylmar, Roxford off the N/B 5. This is right after the 405 junctions into the 5. We can depart around 10, or what ever is best.

****** LATEST UPDATE ******

Okay everyone, I just talked to the track owner and finalized a few things, so here we go....

START TIME:

- Teching will start at 10:00 a.m.

- Racing will start at 11:00 A.M. and end at 6:00 P.M.

- There will be a spectator fee of $10 per spectator

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- The speed at the pits/parking area is 10 mph.... last time, we almost got kicked out because people kept racing in the pit area

- Please bring your own food or at least a snack. There is a Jack In The Box close by to the track. Unfortunately, there will be no food stand open at the track. However, we will have access to the barbecue grills if needed. Some of us will be bringing extra food and drinks.

- There will be NO RACE GAS at the track, so please bring some if you plan to use it.

- Please DO NOT FORGET YOUR HELMET (myself included)

Looking forward to seeing everyone there

There will also be a Ferrri F430 Spider, but it wont be racing. Is the CGT planning on racing? This is going to be soooo sick!

We'd love to meet up for the drive. We plan to take the 118 to the 5, so anywhere along the way, or once we hit the 5 would work. We'll have both my tuned M3 and F430. Be plan aon leaving at 9:30, and could meet up around 10:00am.

He ran a 12.0x a couple times too lol. New record Bolt ON M3. I tried to get in the 12's my first time at the track but I could not hook to save my life next time I'm def going to bring some Drag radials. All I did is spun 1-2 and 2-3 it was ridiculous Still had fun though.

Hello guys,

Very fun day, It was great meeting some of you from the forums. I know most people will be interested in times, but I only have pics to offer.

Before I give you the pics, I thought Id tell a funny story. On the way home I drove the f430 and my father drove his M3. We drove like 70-75 the whole way home, behaved very well and everything was great. Well about .5 miles from getting home we get off the freeway. I guess the day of races was still in us cause stupid us we decided to mess around a little on the way to the house. We weren't doing anything horrible, just rolling at like 20 and punching it up to 60. Well we make the last turn before pulling into the gates of the community and we both punch it. At this point we both noticed a motorcycle coming up behind us, but no red & blue lights at this point. well we pull into the community and of course the lights are ablaze!

Sure enough it was a bike cop. I was in front of the M3 and the cop cut between us and came straight for me to get my license. Well thankfully my dad jumped out right away and started talking to the guy. Giving him the story which was really the 100% truth, that we were driving very safe for the past 2.5 hours and we never mess around like that on the street, blah blah blah.

Well we now have one less live (9 lives) when it comes to driving! We were let off with a verbal warning and all made it home safe and sound...

Alright, well now for the pictures.

D

Best M3 time I saw up to that point was posted by Drew @ 12.41. I don't remember his trap speed. Drew looked very consistent and his times were getting better and better with each run.

It will be interesting to see the best times posted later on tonight/tomorrow.

It was also great meeting all of the guys from the forum who went out. Too bad I couldn't run...I would have really enjoyed it.
Great meeting you Robert!

I finally figured out the best way to launch the car and hit 12.04 115.5, edged out all the modded C63's! The Vbox #'s were pretty close to the track times as well.
