I don't get it. It's not going to help much unless you remove the moonroof.

How much does the CF panel weigh compared to the steel panel? Is it a net weight savings?

" As for weight savings its not the point or goal. It was to have the carbon roof like the coupe!! " This was a cosmetic modification more than anything

Sweet Pics!
I can't get enough of them. The CF roof really sets the E90 off nicely!

I'm in market for IND's no sunroof one but just afraid of high cost and major body work.
Vorstiener "carbon fiber" roof panel vs IND carbon fiber roof panel is a no-brainer.

IND by a mile.

Does that mean you prefer the non-sunroof panel or that you prefer an IND part over a Vorsteiner part? In this case IND does not make the sunroof roof. Not to mention I venture to say that the construction has to be very similiar if not indentical.

He's implying that IND has better quality carbon fiber then that of Vorsteiner. IND>ALL

I wont get into that. All that I can say is that the Vorsteiner roof was flawless, and is all carbonfiber construction, it does not get better than that only equal at best.

Exclamation

I understand the want for this, but I honestly don't think it looks that great because of the sunroof clashed with the look of the CF. I think a full CF roof looks better. To me there are some things that are just too much when it comes to the CF look...Like "showing" CF on a black car...JMHO

C&C of course did a great job on the install, being a MFest member, I know they do exceptional work!
