Sorry but that doesn't look anything like the amuse erricson trunk. Too square, not enough smooth lines. Just my opinion, You get what you pay for.

Yeah the website does say $680, I wonder if it's for local pick up price.

Do you have any lips for the E92 M3? I only saw lips for the 3 series.

That wouldn't make sense since his post says $720 + shipping.

How can you guys tell with just one pic of the E92 trunk? I sincerely can't tell how it is by just looking at that one pic at a weird angle. Last I checked, Ericsson doesn't make an E90 trunk so that's just Carbon8's interpretation. I'm going to wait and see the full pics of the E92 trunk first before I make my judgment.

+1
the e92 trunk looks pretty accurate.. as for the e90 trunk, amuse doesnt make one for the 4 door cars ... so there is nothing to copy from.

The price has gone up because our supplier have asked us to bump up the price. We were going to release them at $680 but at this point thats a wrong price.

The trunks fit very well, they look amazing in real life and they even look great on images. This is Amuse ERRICSON Style trunk. If you want an exact copy, get the original.

Don't forget to click on the picture to see the whole gallery.

Then you should update your site with the correct price b/c legally I can go to your site and order one for $680 and you will have to honor that price.

Well I guess if it's on a sedan we know for sure it's a rep...

I see my amuse trunk every day..and there just something about the e92 rep that doesn't look right.. I've seen all the pics not just these two.. i just canb't place my finger on it tho.. either it's too flat/squared on top or it's angled down too much.. I just can't place my finger on it .. I'd have to see one in real life to know for sure..

Mike,

Now you mentioned it, I can see how the angle of the kick is off compared to the real trunk.

OK after looking at a picture at the same angle I can see where the rep differs from the real one..The difference are subtle.. The part where the wing starts to go up happens later on the real Amuse and has more of a "sexy" curve to it where the replica starts to go up almost immediately making it look more angular.. it seem more pronounced on the E90 version.. just goes up with no curve whatsoever.. giving it a boxy look

then, at the top corner the real one appears to be slightly more rounded and even appears to be slightly tilted upwards as well where the replica goes straight ..again giving the replica a more angular look.. maybe the process of overlaying the carbon fiber flattened out the curves?

You'll get like 90% of the look for about 1/10th the price.. which is a good deal I guess..

Guys, just click on one of my posted photos for the full gallery. You don't have to look for more of the same pictures

I have seen several Amuse trunks as well. This is our take on it. We never wanted an exact replica. Our trunk kicks out a little more out towards the rear bumper then the Amuse does, thus matching it (see the picture).

Personally it looks better then the Amuse original that kicks right up, throwing off the balance in the back. Between Vorsteiner CSL that kicks out past the rear bumper and the Amuse that does not kick out enough, our version does exactly how we wanted for it to be designed.

I may get some negative comments about this from the VRS and authentic Amuse owners but this is our product and I think it is done just right.
