the lip and diffuser are the only things that look good.

The grille makes the car looks like it has braces.

E92 Bonnet, hood

I've noticed on quite a few E92 / E93 that the bonnet appears not to be fully closed or is a poor fitting. If you look at this ACS you'll see what I mean.

Anyone else think this. Doesn't seem to happen on the E90.

I like the ACS M3 from the E9X Mega meet at CEC Miami Showroom more (even though I wasn't crazy about that cars exhaust either). That car didn't have the "braces" look that this one has.

I really do not like it. Far too shouty, overdone, AMG style with wings and stuff. The shift knob is a joke IMO. Maybe lies good in the hand, but come on! Doesn't fit to the interior and is really really ugly. and 20" wheels, WTF? Power gain straight away lost.
I don't understand why Schnitzer but also other like Hamann make the cars so ugly. (take a look at the Hamann Z4M )

I miss the old ACS days such amazing project cars back in the day. I used to go to the German site once week to check out what new parts they had.

a whole half inch further from the axis of rotation, something like a factor of 5% further out for the barrel of the rim (compared to a 19), but then again there will be less tire sidewall mass as well in a 20, so its less than 5% given that the mass on the 20 and 19 are equal. Now take in to account the mass on the ACS 20 is less than the stock 19, and the difference would be VERY hard to tell.

most people who suffer from upsizing their wheels are running cast 20" boat anchors, where you really feel the mass being far from the center of axis. the stock otto-fuchs 19s are a very strong, light wheel, so for a 20" ACS to be actually lighter is no small statement

I can live without the ACS interior, but the exterior parts are actually quite good. I like the lip, diffuser, trunk spoiler, and wheels. Plus, these are real dry CF parts that are actually light weight.

Thanks!

ACS makes parts for the world market. When people here in the states say they do not like the front grill, we are not surprised. These accessory items were designed for flashy markets like Japan and the Middle East. If we were all the same, BMW would only make the M3 in AW.

For my build, I chose parts that fit the likes of our market, and what ACS means to me. Form, Function, Exclusivity and Heritage, with the utmost respect for build quality. IMO, ACS makes the most understated aerodynamics available for the E9X M3.

Frank,
Do you guys make the rear diffuser for the e90 M3, and would it fit with my Akra exhaust? Any better pics of the diffuser. I like the ACS diffuser better then the other ones out on the market. Design is simpler and flows better.

It's not just a shift knob, it's ACS's new short shift kit.

It was engineered to sit higher and closer to the steering wheel than the factory knob. It shortens the travel time between the shifter and getting your hand back on the wheel for that upcoming turn (track use). The knob is made of a light weight polymer and the shifter is balanced with the weight square on the lower end of the assembly. It also has more precise and shorter shifts.

More than a modified version of the OE shifter. You gotta love a shifter that was actually engineered to make the shifts and seating position of the M3 even better.

love the ACS M3, love the front bottom grill, love the front lip. way better look than just a "blacked-out" M3, which is like 90% of the mods out there.
