My dealer didn't put mine on either. My front is still "commando".

Always had my e36 M3 Commando... ALL the F*ing TIME!! ESPECIALLY street parking in NYC. Get the Hide away, or tow hook mount.
I accumilated about 5 tickets when I lived with a GF in bayside. Put the plate on took pics. printed them, then send them out not guilty every 2 days for a week. I ended up paying for one and getting out of the rest.

CA put mine on before I took delivery. Personally, I agreed with the decision since I'd rather not have undue attention.
FYI, dealer told me that the rule in NYC is more than one violation and it's grounds for your car to be towed. I would never want anyone else touching my baby there  |

never rock a front plate don't care how many tickets!
you can't get towed thats BS but the fine i think may be up to 100....its atleast 75 i get them prob like once a year. |

Do you have a private garage? If so you can't get towed by the NYPD. Also if your parking your car on the street I think you should be more worried about the several dents and nicks you will get on your front and rear bumpers.
